The old `Brock' and `Wellington' coppers are familiar to the recollection of the old settlers: they once formed our only copper circulation although 4 or 5 of them would not balance a British penny!
1891
There were many other coins, especially "Wellington tokens" imported into Nova Scotia, but it is impossible to separate them from those imported into the other provinces.
